I am a Career Services Advisor at Heald College in Roseville, On a daily basis, I assist our graduates and alumni with finding employment.  Students are motivated to excel in their field of study, be it Medical, Legal, Business, Accounting, Pharmacy Tech, Construction Management and/or Information Technology.  It’s their professional successes that make our work rewarding. 

At Heald College we pride ourselves on preparing our students to meet the demands of today’s marketplace.  We are committed to providing our students, alumni and graduates with an education that will equip them with the practical skills they need to make valuable contributions to the workforce.  We enlist the help of professionals like you to identify workplace needs and then build our curriculum around those needs.

Some of the free services that the Career Services Department offers to local employers including:

• Job postings – Save your time and money by posting your job orders with our Career Services department. 
• Career Fairs – Represent your business at one of our Career Fairs and let the community know why your organization is a great place to work.
• On-campus Interviews – Leave your busy office behind and conduct interviews at our campus.
• Internships/Externships – Consider hosting a student at your site for a non-paid, advanced practical skills training.  Many employers see this as a practical interview from which they can recruit and hire new graduates after having had the opportunity to see them apply their skills “on the job”.
• Join one of our Campus Advisory Boards – Help Heald stay abreast of the needs of your industry by joining our Campus Advisory Board.  Participate in lively annual discussions that help our academics team to shape the curriculum and improve the student experience in our on-going effort to produce well rounded graduates with the skills necessary to help ensure their success in the workplace.
