Action teams capitalize on the strengths and skills of our members to tackle specific projects and issues, such as planning events or marketing our programs. Programs and Events Action Team

Description: The Programs and Events Action Team develops and implements strategies that create programs and events that will be of interest to members of Ignite while furthering the mission of the organization. This includes developing an event calendar for an entire calendar year. This action team meets the 2nd Thursday @ 5:30 p.m. every month at the Roseville Chamber of Commerce.

Communications Action Team

Chair: Megan McLeer

Description: The Communications Action Team develops and implements the branding, marketing, advertising, publicity, and communications for Ignite. We also oversee the website and any printed or electronic collaterals. If you have experience in any of these fields (or just have some great ideas), please join our team! This team meets the 4th Friday @ 10:00 a.m. every month at the Roseville Chamber of Commerce

Membership Action Team

 Chair: Kristin Kaminski

Description: The Membership Action Team is responsible for the successful growth of Ignite membership. Our goals revolve around attracting and retaining young professionals throughout the area as members to Ignite. Working closely with Communications and Programs & Events, the membership action team will promote Ignite, explain the benefits and services to new members, and encourage participation among members and prospective members.

We are looking for volunteers who want to assist in building our membership. Volunteers will assist with tasks such as the new member on-boarding process, establish marketing efforts towards prospects, and bring ideas to the table with regard to growing our membership base. This team meets the 2nd Wednesday @ 4:30 p.m. every month at the Roseville Chamber of Commerce.

Sponsorship Action Team

Team Chair: Kevin Leamy

Description: The sponsorship action team is responsible for growing the sponsorship base for Ignite. The Sponsorship Action Team will promote Ignite to the business community in an effort to gain sponsors for events, programs, seminars, and the club as a whole. Ignite relies on the support of the entire community to flourish. The sponsorship action team will work closely with the business community in order to maintain positive relations and maximize sponsorships and participation.

We are looking for volunteers who are able to promote Ignite to the local business community. Some sales skills and a complete understanding of Ignite are imperative. Volunteers will be selling the concept of Ignite to business owners, decision makers, and leaders. This team meets the 4th Tuesday @ 4:30 p.m. every month at the Roseville Chamber of Commerce.

Community Outreach Action Team

Team Chair: Shauna Dalton

The Community Outreach Action Team is tasked with providing access to ongoing volunteer and civic leadership opportunities in the South Placer region for Ignite. This team will also work with local non-profit organizations to be highlighted at Ignite events and to ensure Ignite is promoting a culture of contribution in the community. This team meets the 4th Thursday of each month at 5:00 p.m. at the Roseville Chamber of Commerce.
